Intensifying the Normal opened September 3, 2004
This month’s exhibit offered a unique showing titled “Intensifying the Normal.” Ordinarily, our shows highlight upper East Tennessee artists, but this time we hosted a group of professional artists from the Knoxville, TN area and was a show NOT to miss. Featured in this exhibit were Alan Finch, John Fairstein, Kevin Segedi, Ruth Koh, Annamaria Gundlach, Peggy Mann, Wendy Seaward, Rick Whitehead, Denise Sanabria, Carl Gombert, N.A. Turner, Patricia Sprouls, Carol La Budde, Bobby Baxley, John Bissonette, Diane Fox, Jean Hess, Betsy Warden, Phil Julian, Kathy Holland, and Mignon Naegeli. The broad range of works included paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics and prints. All of the artists have exhibited in the local Knoxville art scene and many have exhibited nationally as well as internationally. |
