Germaine Galjour is a self taught, self motivated international artist of French-Cajun descent. She learned how to mix colors at a young age by melting crayons on the hot ratiators in her parents' NYC East River Drive apartment. Since then, Germaine has sought to experiment in several mediums with higher purose. Before coming to the mountains of East Tennessee, she was a licensed painter on Jackson Square in New Orleans, LA. After hurricane Katrina, she relocated to safer ground in the Southern Appalachian mountains.

Germaine's various styles of Painting reflect her resourceful talent in several art media. Her versatile painting ability has encouraged Germaine's themes by working on a personal basis with collectors, commercial contractors, galleries and interior decorators.
