American Salmagundi opened July 2, 2004

 American Salmagundi was a showing of local artists who brought their talents from all over the world. Featured this month were Deana Bolton, Mary Talley, Josh Arnold, Margaret Day, and Adeline Hong Meng Choo. Unlike most exhibitions at Nelson, American Salmagundi brought the 5 artists from entirely different backgrounds and media.

Nelson Fine Art Center is proud to present a wide variety of local artists. The gallery includes over 300 original artworks.  

Every "first friday" of the month Nelson becomes the epicenter of downtown Johnson City's monthly art and music festival.
